Charles Alfred Meurer studied with Duveneck, Noble and Meakin at the Cincinnati Art Academy and in Paris with Laurens, Constant, Ferrier and Doucet. He was a member and on the board of directors of the Cincinnati Art Club. He maintained a studio in Terrace Park for many years.
