Bryon Sutherland (Born 1969) American, Art Glass Vase. The hand blown classic squat shape has a murky blue-grey body with a yellow and white pronounced lip along the opening. Signed and dated 2014 on the underside.

Bryon Sutherland was born in 1969 in San Diego, California, and was drawn to art at an early age. He earned his degree in glass sculpture at California State University, Chico in 1991 and further honed his skills studying at the Corning Museum of Glass in New  York under William Gudenrath, where he began exploring ancient Venetian styles. After traveling the country and picking up techniques from multiple different artists, including at the Tacoma Museum of Glass and the Pilchuck Glass School, he returned to Chico to work at Orient & Flume Art Glass. In 2008 he began an independent career, producing new and unique works that are highly sought by collectors around the world.
