Bruce Lenore discovered his passion for art at age 10, inspired by his grandfather’s watercolor painting. He earned degrees from the Hartford Art School and Rhode Island School of Design, and spent years as a full-time ceramic artist before tendonitis led him to pursue teaching. For 25 years, he taught at Smithfield High School, where he created a vibrant, inclusive classroom that nurtured creativity, emotional expression, and connection. Known for his energy, empathy, and ability to inspire, Lenore also started after-school clubs, built a student garden, and helped countless students feel seen and supported. Since retiring, he has returned to full-time ceramics, creating unique, nature-inspired bonsai pots and traveling extensively. His legacy lives on in both his students and his artwork.
Condition: Commensurate with age, minor scratches and marks.
