Bruce Helander (Born 1947) is an American artist celebrated for his inventive collage and assemblage works. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), where he later served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Helander began experimenting with paper collage as a teenager, developing a style characterized by meticulous compositions that incorporate vintage imagery. His acclaimed works are held in major institutions, including the Guggenheim, Whitney, and Metropolitan Museums, and he was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2014.
