Bill Mack's graphic entitled Radiance has been produced much like the original artwork he painted as the model for his sculpture with the same title. Over sixty serigraphic screens were used, many of them created by hand, to lay down an acceptable image on the heavy, 320 gram paper used to produce this edition. An embossing dye was created by the artist incorporating the same random texture used on the Radiance painting. A heavily embossed surface was then achieved on each serigraph using a hand embossing press adapted for this application. Once the Embossing procedure was completed and the surface was sealed, the artist and/or his studio staff under his supervision, then hand toned each serigraph. Previously appraised at $8,000.
