Bill Hutson (1936-2022) African American. Oil on Collage on Wood. Provenance - DR. BALTHARD FALK, Tibaron, Ca. Bill Hutson was born September 6, 1936 in San Marcos, Texas. Hutson is essentially a self-taught artist, educator and amateur archivist who has traveled extensively for exhibitions, work and research. Hutson has lived in England, France, Holland, Italy, Nigeria and Senegal. He has visited every country in western Europe, and traveled to Cambodia, Canada, Gabon, India, Ivory Coast, Laos, Mali, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar (Burma),Thailand, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Venezuela and Vietnam. During the past thirty years solo exhibitions of work Hutson completed has been seen in more than 20 museums and galleries, and in over 50 group exhibitions.
