Barry Leighton-Jones (1932-2011) British/American, Artist Proof Clown Lithograph. Depicts his favorite subject, the clown Emmett Kelly, in one of his most popular images of the clown painting a self portrait of himself. Signed  in pencil bottom right. "AP" written in pencil bottom left. A gold toned seal in a circle below "AP" reads "The Original Circus Collection" with Emmett Kelly's signature embossed in the middle of it. This same insignia appears in the top left, bottom left, and bottom right corners of a cardboard encasement that surrounds the gold hued frame, as well as in the middle of the back of it. The company name "Stanton Arts" appears at the top and bottom of the front of the cardboard, as well as in the top section of the back in a banner that includes the words "Another Heirloom Quality Collector's Edition from Stanton Arts Proudly crafted in the USA. P.O. Box 26083, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33320." The cardboard triangles that protect the corners of the frame on the front also include information, indicating it is from Series 1, is the Signature Edition, and that there is an included Certificate of Authenticity.
