From Barry Entner's 'Rites of Summer' series, this glass sculpture joins three elongated lavender to clear, etched & textured forms joined by brilliant copper & brass wire. A striking 3-dimensional composition caught in a moment of exploding energy.
Entner, an unparalleled glass artist began his own studio in rural Massachusetts in 1981. Earning glass degrees from Penland School of Crafts and Massachusetts College of Art, he was mentored by glass sculptors Gene Koss, David Goldhagen and Stephen Dee Edwards. Entner has exhibited in Frankfurt, Germany; Kanazawa, Japan, among others, and is represented in prestigious international collections.
