Barry Brukoff (1935-2023) American, Large Oil on Canvas. Abstract Oil. Titled 'Green Space'. Signed and dated 1984 on the back. Brukoff studied painting, sculptur and design at the Chicago Art Institute. In 1970 he began multiple careers in San Francisco in painting, photography and architectural and interior design. He has received many awards and in 1980 and 1981 received gratns from the National Endowment of the Arts. His work has been exhibited at galleries in New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, and San Francisco. He is represented in many public, private and corporate collections. he traveled widely and especially to the sites of ancient civilizations from Stonehenge to Machu Picchu to Cambodia. He has authored and co-authored several books illustrated with his photographs.
