Austine Studios Polage "Journey" Lightbox No. 24/25. A lightbox with an image of a girl holding on to a hot air balloon as it lifts away from the ground. When activated, the light reveals a second image of a bird and sunflowers. Designed by Austine Wood Comarow using her unique propriety medium, polage. Signed lower right, dated 1988.

Austine Studios, founded by artist Austine Wood Comarow, is celebrated for pioneering polage art—a unique fusion of polarized light and artistic creativity.
