Arthur Weeks Impressionist (1930-1988) American O/C Picking Flowers. This vibrant painting depicts two figures as they roam a field of flowers with their baskets. Image is almost a close up of his famous "Summer Yellow Fields and Figures", 1986. Condition Excellent.
Arthur Weeks was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Known for colorful paintings in the fauvist style, he gained wide acclaim throughout the southeast following a solo exhibition of his work at the Birmingham Museum of Art in 1970.
