Art Deco Frankart Style Gilt Spelter Desk Lamp. In working condition. Depicts a lady delicately poised along the bottom base, reaching out to illuminate a stylish green glass bulb. Marked "No. 138" on the back side. 

Size: 10 x 11 x 6 in. 

Frankart, Inc. was a New York company famous for mass-producing sought-after Art Deco decorative items in the 1920s and 1930s, especially nude female figural lamps, ashtrays, and clocks made from spelter or lead composition and painted with sleek, modern designs. Created by sculptor Arthur von Frankenburg, these affordable yet stylish pieces, usually marked with the company name and patent number, captured the era's spirit of modernity and are considered highly collectible today.
