Anton Heinrich Dieffenbach was active/lived in Germany. and is known for painting. His work is characterized above all else by the representation of children. The coloring and execution of often places them in the tradition of the Düsseldorf school of painting. The scenes often show children in homely surroundings, or at play. Dieffenbach is also known for his woodland landscapes.
