Antique Royal Berlin Cup with Cobalt Royal Scepter. Markings seem to best match 1820s to 1830s.  

KPM Berlin Empire-Style Porcelain Cabinet Cup – Cobalt Blue and Gilt Star Band, Early 19th Century. This striking Empire-style porcelain cup was produced by the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) in Berlin, as indicated by the hand-painted underglaze blue scepter mark on the base. The cup features a classic flared shape with a delicate, angular handle. A wide cobalt blue band encircles the midsection, embellished with finely applied gilt stars. Above, a neoclassical foliate garland in gold scrolls across a white ground, while the lower half is richly decorated with alternating panels of burnished and matte gilt.

The use of cobalt and extensive gilding reflects the refined Neoclassical taste of the early 19th century and aligns with decorative themes favored during the Prussian royal court era. Though it shows some age-related wear and a visible crack in the gilded portion, the cup remains a fine example of KPM’s craftsmanship during the Biedermeier or late Empire period.
