Antique Hanau Faience Enghalskrug Jug. Appears to have a Date of 1775, however we cannot be certain that this date was not copied from an earlier form. It is however Antique. German Hanau blue and white armorial Jug (Enghalskrug) with a horizontally ribbed neck, a baluster body with an elaborate coat-of-arms incorporating three armorial oval shields sumounted by a winged head of an angel wearing a Bishop's Mitre flanked with the initials 'FF' 'EA' the coat-of-arms is surrounded by tied palmettes with the date 1775 beneath.
Size: 7 1/2 x 6 3/4 x 15 1/4 in.
