Buddhist singing bowls are traditional instruments used in meditation, ritual, and healing practices, particularly in Tibetan Buddhism. Made from a bronze alloy that may include copper, tin, and other metals, these bowls produce a resonant, harmonic tone when struck or circled with a mallet. The sound is believed to aid in achieving a meditative state, helping to focus the mind and promote inner peace. Often used in monasteries and spiritual ceremonies, singing bowls also have therapeutic applications in sound healing, where their vibrations are thought to balance energy and reduce stress.
