Artist Biography:
Anna Cionini, born on November 24, 1941, in Poggibonsi, Italy, is a renowned Italian painter. Initially pursuing classical studies, she soon discovered her passion for drawing and left formal education to focus on her artistic inclinations. She worked for a few years as a commercial illustrator before traveling through Italy, where diverse cultural experiences enriched her artistic sensitivity. Self-taught in painting, Cionini later honed her skills at the Libera Scuola del Nudo at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. Since the 1970s, she has exhibited extensively in Italy and internationally, including shows in London, Paris, and the United States. Today, she lives and works in Casentino, near Arezzo, Italy.
