Andrew Francis is a British artist born in 1957 in Gloucestershire, now residing in Ceredigion, West Wales. After formal art training, he began his career as a graphic designer, working in various roles including publications manager and web designer. In 2009, he transitioned to full-time painting, focusing primarily on landscapes that capture the essence of Wales and the West Country. Utilizing diverse media such as acrylics, oils, collage, and found materials, Francis explores the balance between representational and emotional depictions of landscapes. His work has been exhibited throughout America and Europe, and he is represented internationally by White Court Art.
