Andre Wilder is known for Modernist painting, structures, city scenes, churches.
Painter of landscapes and marines, Andre Wilder was a student of Jean Leon Gerome and Marius Michel. He was greatly influenced by the works of Claude Monet.
Wilder exhibited in France at the Nationale des Beaux Arts at the Salons d'Automne* and the Tuileries. He was also recognized abroad and held exhibitions in Rotterdam, Saragosse, San Francisco, London, New York, Bruxelles and Zurich.
