American Mosser Glass Cobalt Blue Acorn Spooner and Modernist Flower Bowl. The Acorn Spooner is a beautiful Art Nouveau piece, and the bowl is shallow and has spiraling lines radiating from the center. 

Condition: Minor apologies to surface of bowl. Both overall great. 

Size: (largest) 15 1/2 x 4 in. 

Mosser Glass is a company making handmade glass, founded in Cambridge, Ohio, in 1970 by Thomas R. Mosser. The company is operated by his oldest son, Tim Mosser. The Mosser family got their start in the business at the Cambridge Glass Company, and many of their designs pay homage to older styles from the Art Nouveau period due to their history. Orie Mosser, Thomas’ father, had been the plant manager at Cambridge Glass until its closing in 1954, and from an early age he had taught their techniques to his children and frequently brought home prototypes for them to see. Today the company employs more than thirty people, including several family generations, with their richly colored pieces highly sought by collectors across the country and displayed in museums throughout the Midwest.
