This is 1 of 2 watercolor paintings of hunting scenes - Alfred Villiers Farnsworth (1858-1908), signed lower right. Provenance is from the estate of Dr. Arnold Werschky in Mill Valley, CA.
In 1892, Farnsworth moved to San Francisco where he became an artist for the Examiner. He sometimes painted with Thad Welch and Louis Rea. His subject matter seldom varied from scenes of the San Francisco Bay area.
