Sarasota Theater of the Arts, Home of the Opera, color lithograph numbered 122/200, pencil-signed lower right Alex Steinweiss. The graphic design artist, Alexander Steinweiss, was known for inventing album cover art. He left the music business when he realized his design ideas were out of step with the rock era. Steinweiss later turned to creating his own art, usually with a musical theme. He moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1974 and passed away there in 2011.
