Al Black, Florida Highwaymen, Acrylic On Canvas.
Al (Blood) Black (born 1947) Highwaymen painting featuring original Highwayman painter Al Black, who painted in the style of celebrated group of Florida painters. In addition, he was in fact the salesman for the group of iconic artists who have become highly collectible staples for art collectors- seeking authentic Florida centric art featuring palm tree lined seascapes. This stunning painting features a collection of Red Poinciana trees- a subject that many of the Highwaymen painted over the years In excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. Signed in the lower right. Al Black was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2004. He is one of the founding members of the Florida Highwaymen and the last living Highwaymen artists who still continues to paint in Fort Pierce. A great piece to start or add to your Highwaymen collection.
