Al Black (B. 1947) Florida Highwaymen, Oil on Upson Board. Depicting a landscape with a bayou, the trees reflecting on the water. Signed and dated near the middle right. Purchased directly from Al Black in Fort Pierce in 1984.

Highwaymen painting featuring original Highwayman painter Al Black, who painted in the style of celebrated group of Florida painters. In addition, he was in fact the salesman for the group of iconic artists who have become highly collectible staples for art collectors- seeking authentic Florida centric art featuring palm tree lined seascapes. Al Black was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2004. He is one of the founding members of the Florida Highwaymen and the last living Highwaymen artists who still continues to paint in Fort Pierce. Location RACK 1
