"Tristan and Isolde / Le Philtre d'Amour" (Cup of Love), photo-offset lithograph, numbered 302/500. This is a lithographic reproduction of an original 1971 ink on Rowlux Plastic. This print is also made on white Rowlux with color added and transparent, blue, gold, and red layers of Rowlux The signature lower right is a facsimile of that on the original ink drawing.
Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) is known for Surrealist painting, drawing, sculpture and printmaking.
Dalí broke through the boundaries of conventional printmaking and experimented with a variety of dramatic processes.

Sight size: 24 1/2 x 24 1/2 in.
The work depicts a surrealistic golden chalice against an unusual landscape, made all the more unique by use of unconventional Rowlux material.
