Art Nouveau bust sculpture of Diane. Villanis was one of the top French sculptors of his time, creating several versions of the goddess Diana (later known as Artemis or Luna). Diana was the protector of wildlife and young maidens, with strong ties to the moon. Upon her head is an elegant crescent moon tiara.
Size: 12 1/2 x 7 x 22 in.
