Emile Pinedo (1840-1916) was a French sculptor, bronze founder, and medalist active during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Born in Paris in 1840, he became known for his finely detailed bronze sculptures, particularly decorative figures inspired by classical mythology, Orientalist themes, and everyday life. Pinedo exhibited regularly at the prestigious Paris Salon from 1863 onward, earning recognition for works that combined artistic elegance with technical precision. Many of his sculptures were produced in bronze and other decorative materials for both public exhibition and private collectors, reflecting the popularity of decorative art during the Belle Époque. Today, his works are highly regarded for their craftsmanship, expressive modeling, and historical significance within the tradition of French academic and decorative sculpture.
