First-half 20th century. Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing. 
With a central reclining lion above the phrase "Helvetiorum Fidei Ac Virtuti," designed after the rock monument in Lucerne, Switzerland commemorating the Swiss Guards massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution.

Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company was a prominent American producer of decorative metalware, founded in 1852 in Meriden, Connecticut. Known for their innovation and craftsmanship, the company gained fame in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for their high-quality lamps, andirons, clocks, bookends, and architectural hardware. They held over 200 patents, especially in lighting design, and sold their products through major retailers and showrooms across the U.S. Their work combined artistic detail with technical excellence and is now highly collectible, with many pieces featured in major museum collections. The company was acquired by Charles Parker Company in 1940, and production ceased in the 1950s.
