(7) Royal Worchester "Monday's Child" Figural Set. Complete seven-figurine collection of the Monday's Child days of the week collection, depicting seven children representing each day of the week. Marked on base Royal Worchester, with pertinent poetic verse.

The Royal Worcester "Days of the Week" figurines are a charming and collectible series introduced in 1938, designed by Freda G. Doughty. Each figurine represents a child corresponding to a day of the week, inspired by the traditional nursery rhyme that begins “Monday’s child is fair of face.” The figures, typically standing between 6 and 8 inches tall, are hand-painted in soft, vibrant colors and modeled with delicate attention to detail. Each one features a unique posture and expression that reflects the verse it represents, such as “full of grace” or “loving and giving.” Produced through the mid-20th century, these figurines remain popular among collectors for their nostalgic sentiment, fine craftsmanship, and the enduring charm of Doughty’s designs.
