"As the Earth Turns" was filmed in various locations in California, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some scenes were shot in the Marin Headlands, while others were filmed in San Francisco itself. The film also features footage of the Golden Gate Bridge under construction, which adds to its historical significance.
As the Earth Turns is a 1934 American pre-Code drama film directed by Alfred E. Green and starring Jean Muir and Donald Woods, based on a Pulitzer Prize-nominated best-selling novel by Gladys Hasty Carroll.
