Strube & Sohn was a German maker of flatware and table accessories active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, best known for producing silver-plated cutlery and serving pieces in ornate historicist and Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) styles. The firm’s work often featured detailed engraving, flowing organic motifs, and high-quality metal finishes, reflecting the decorative tastes of the period. Pieces marked “Strube & Sohn” are now primarily encountered as antiques, valued by collectors for their craftsmanship and distinctive design, as well as for the insight they offer into Germany’s decorative arts industry during that era.
