Paco Capdell is the brand identity associated with Spanish furniture craftsman and entrepreneur Francisco “Paco” García Gil, who co-founded the Valencia-based seating manufacturer Capdell in 1967. Beginning as a traditional woodworking workshop, the enterprise evolved during the 1980s by shifting its focus toward modern design, leading to the creation of iconic signature pieces such as the “Paco” stackable chair. Under his initial vision and leadership, the brand grew into a globally recognized designer label celebrated for its blend of artisan woodcraft, contemporary ergonomics, and minimalist seating solutions, still producing new works and encouraging new Spanish designers to this day.
