(4) Vintage Thai Hand-Carved Painted Wood Folk Art Masks of Traditional Theatrical Characters. The lot consisting of four hand-carved and painted wooden masks representing various characters or deities with expressive, weathered features. Each mask displays unique craftsmanship, with vibrant but aged pigments in shades of ochre, red, and yellow, along with distinct facial details such as bared teeth, stylized moustaches, and decorative headbands. These folk-art pieces appear to be traditional ritual or theatrical masks, possibly used in regional dance ceremonies, characterized by their rustic texture and hollowed-out eye slits.
