(4) Antique Advertising Lithograph Posters. Lime Kiln Club Cigars lithographic poster. Shows a color caricature drawing of a group of African American men who are seated in a large meeting room which has the name "Paradise Hall", shown on a sign over the door. Two men are standing in front of the group near the left side of the drawing and appear to be speaking. Another man is seated near the lower left corner and appears to be the recording secretary. A copy of "The Weekly Detroit Free Press" newspaper is resting on the floor in the foreground. Printed text beneath the title along the lower left edge shows "Copyrighted by Calvert Lith. Co., Detroit, 1882." in lower left. Lithograph poster advertising to drink "Black Diamond" whiskey. Coblentz & Levy. Depicts four African Americans standing side by side and smiling. Hambone Sweets lithograph poster. Advertising five cent cigars. Depicts a pilot with a cigar hanging out of mouth flying over a hill. Armour's Star ham & bacon cardboard backed litho. Smiling chef slicing ham in corner.
Condition: One corner torn on the "Black Diamond" whiskey poster. Nail poking out of top. Mark in upper right corner of Hambone poster.
