Wenda Watts is an abstract painter who has explored the interplay of geography, season, and emotion through fluid, heavy body, and metallic acrylics. Favoring secondary and tertiary colors, including bronzes, coppers, and golds, she works on both individual canvases and large-scale diptychs and triptychs, embracing the challenge of expanded abstract dynamics. Her work, known for its rich pigments and watercolor-like glazes, is held in collections across Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto, and beyond.
