Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. was an American silverplate manufacturer founded in 1866 in Wallingford, Connecticut, that became one of the prominent producers of Victorian-era tableware and decorative metal goods. The firm specialized in electroplated silver over base metals, creating tea sets, flatware, serving pieces, and ornate hollowware characterized by elaborate engraving, repoussé work, and fashionable revival styles. In 1898 the company became part of the International Silver Company conglomerate, which consolidated many U.S. silver firms while continuing production under established brand names. Today, Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. pieces are valued by collectors for their craftsmanship, decorative richness, and representation of late 19th-century American dining and decorative arts.
