20th c. Table Globus/Globe As A Bar.
This handsome object has an antique look, light brown and walnut glazed. Four balustrated legs on brass rollers, connected by a curved cross brace; on top the profiled and arched stand of the globe on a baluster shaft and with a mounting ring. Wide equatorial ring of wood with details of the zodiac signs and months on paper. The globe folds in the middle; inside with a place for an ice bucket and compartments to hold glasses, bottles and carafes.
