Curtis Jeré was the collaborative name used by American designers Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, whose sculptural metalwork helped define the decorative art of the mid-20th century. Through their company Artisan House, founded in the 1960s, they created distinctive wall sculptures, mirrors, and decorative objects characterized by dynamic forms, polished and patinated metals, and a playful blend of abstraction and natural imagery. Their works often featured birds, trees, flowers, geometric shapes, and organic compositions crafted in brass, copper, and steel, reflecting the optimism and experimentation of the Mid-Century Modern movement.
