(2) Vintage English Brighton Pavilion Style Chinoiserie Bamboo High Arm Chairs. A matched pair, elegantly put together, with stained upholstered seat cushions. One has a supportive wood flat added to the underside beneath the rattan seat. 

Size: 21 1/2 x 22 1/2 x 34 1/2 in. 

Brighton Pavilion bamboo armchairs are iconic, stylish chairs inspired by the exotic Chinese decor of England's Royal Pavilion for King George IV in Brighton, featuring burnt bamboo frames, intricate fretwork (often Chinese Chippendale style), and woven cane seats, popular in Regency, Chinoiserie, and coastal designs from the 19th century onwards, known for their dark "tortoiseshell" finish and airy, decorative look.
