Two still life scenes depicting cooking wares and foods, one with eggs frying and the other with fish waiting preparation, both signed lower right, oil on board.
Nilton Bravo, academic painter, mainly of still lifes, started to paint as a child and soon became associated with his father, Lino Pinto Bravo (1899-1966). Without any academic training, Nilton learned his father's techniques, and the two created thousands of panels throughout Rio de Janeiro's bars, taverns, and bakeries.. In the 1980s, Nilton Bravo stopped painting panels to dedicate himself to canvasses.
