Condition: Fading and minor staining to fabric. Commensurate with age.

Lion in Frost was a high-end furniture company founded by the American designer Max Kuehne in the 1960s. The company was based in New York and produced handcrafted furniture that was known for its modern aesthetic and innovative use of materials. Lion in Frost furniture was characterized by its use of acrylic and Lucite, which were often combined with other materials like brass, chrome, and glass. Kuehne’s designs were known for their clean lines and geometric shapes, and his work was highly sought after by collectors and interior designers. Today, Lion in Frost pieces are considered collectibles and can be found in fine homes and museums around the world.
