Artist Biography:
Lee Winslow Court (1903–1992) was an American artist and illustrator best known for his detailed and realistic wildlife and nature paintings. Court's work often focused on birds, landscapes, and other natural subjects, capturing them with great precision and accuracy. He was part of a tradition of American artists who were dedicated to documenting nature through art, similar to figures like John James Audubon. In addition to painting, Court also worked as an illustrator, contributing to various nature books and publications. His commitment to realism and attention to the details of the natural world earned him a respected place in the field of wildlife art.
