Paul Cardew had been designing ceramics for many years including the now very collectable range of National Westminster Piggy Banks which were given away with savings accounts in the UK in the 1970s.Paul Cardew first launched a range of teapots in 1975 at Spring Fair trade show in Birmingham. Many of Paul’s early teapots were produced by his company Sunshine Ceramics including one of his rarest and most popular.
