1930s Art Deco Phoenix Consolidated Glass Lamp. We have seen two different titles for the vase. "The Dancing Nudes" or "Dance of the Nudes Pan Vase" This large vase has a raised pattern of nymphs dancing around the vase with coral coloured scarves. The Greek God, Pan is shown playing a flute type instrument. This vase was made circa 1926-1928. Dancing Nudes vase was part of Phoenix/Consolidated’s Martele line in their catalog. This line was created to compete against Rene Lalique’s glass that was very popular at the same time period. This vase was converted to a light fixture, which is definitely in a lot more limited in creation.
