18th C Classical Old Master Painting, oil on shaped panel, icon. Painting depicts 'The Annunciation', a time when the Angel Gabriel informs the Virgin Mary that she will soon become the mother of Jesus. Upon black light inspection, this beautiful painting appears to be in untouched condition, with minor scattered losses. Condition commensurate with age, the two panels have wooden reinforcements and newer hinges. Estate fresh.
