Consisting of Sterling Blades. Well marked. Sterling Handles. Well Marked. Dated 'n' for 1820's in Edinburgh. Lot of eight butter knives, one fish fillet knife with beautiful engraved vine work design on blade. Scottish silver hallmarks on blades and handles. Butter knives with image of mermaid on handle, with slogan "Nil Temere".
Case for largest knife size: 10 1/4 x 2 x 1 1/8 in.
Gross Weight: 19.010 ozt. The handles have likely been weighted to some degree but the blades are sterling silver.
