(17) Russian Folk Art Pieces Including Matryoshka Dolls, Lacquered Boxes, and Easter Eggs. All wooden, carved and hand-painted. Two nesting dolls, one nesting barrel, four rectangular lacquered boxes (the largest of which has two much smaller boxes within it), two rounded boxes, five Easter eggs, and one spoon. All covered in traditional symbols, images, and iconography from Slavic mythology and designs. The dolls have labels on the bottom in Cyrillic script, the large rectangular box reads "Made in USSR BD-59" on the bottom, and the barrel has "Made in Soviet Union" written on the base. 

Condition: Commensurate with age.
