These duck stamp lots and lithographs are all to benefit the Sarasota Audubon Society.
a) The first lot consists of a 1984 Federal duck stamp and lithograph, featuring the $7.50 Wigeon stamp, mint never hinged, with a numbered lithograph, # 17,580 of 20,400 copies, the lithograph is also signed by William Marcus, the artist, in the lower right margin, the lithograph is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is
6 1/2 x 9 in. wide.
b) two (2) 1985 Alaska state duck stamps and lithograph, featuring two $5 Emperor Geese stamps, with a numbered lithograph, # 4965 of 14,600 copies, the lithograph is signed by Daniel Smith, the artist, in the lower right margin; it is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is 6 1/2 x 9 in. wide; the stamps are partially stuck to the black paper, and this is the first year Alaska issued state duck stamps.
c) two (2)1982 Arizona state duck stamps and lithograph, with two $5.50 Pintail duck stamps, one numbered lithograph, # 925 of 10,400 copies, the lithograph is signed by the artist, Daniel Smith, in the lower right margin; it is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is 6 1/2 x 9 in. wide, the stamps are partially stuck to the black paper.
d) two (2) 1990 Colorado state duck stamps and lithograph, featuring two $5 Canada Geese duck stamps, with one numbered lithograph, # 2541 of 14,500 copies, the lithograph is signed by the artist, Robert Steiner, in the lower right margin; it is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is 6 1/2 x 9 in. wide, the stamps are mint never hinged, and this is the first year Colorado issued state duck stamps.
e) two (2) 1993 Connecticut state duck stamps and lithograph, featuring two $5 Migratory Bird stamps with one numbered lithograph, # 5463 of 12,750 copies, the lithograph is signed by Thomas Hirata, the artist, in the lower right margin, it is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is 6 1/2 x 9 in. wide, the stamps are mint never hinged, this is the first year Connecticut issued state duck stamps.
f) two (2) 1985 Georgia state duck stamps and lithograph, with two $5.50 Waterfowl Conservation Duck stamps featuring a male and female wood duck, with one numbered lithograph, # 4009 of 14,100 copies, the lithograph is signed by the artist, Daniel Smith, in the lower right margin, it is unframed and measures 12 x 14 and the image size is
6 1/2 x 9 in. wide; one stamp is mint hinged and the other stamp is partially stuck to the black paper, this is the first duck stamp issued by Georgia.
